During prolonged rainy and humid (monsoon) seasons, power plants often face high humidity levels, which directly affect equipment systems and operational environments. When humidity exceeds the allowable threshold, electrical cabinets, components, and control systems are prone to condensation, corrosion, short circuits, and reduced performance. This not only impacts equipment durability but also poses potential risks to operational safety and long-term maintenance costs.

Project information

Recently, Kosmen conducted a site survey and provided consultation for installing a high-capacity dehumidification system at a power plant. Project details are as follows:

Client: Ha Nam Power Plant
Address: No. 9 Tran Phu Street, Phu Ly Ward, Ninh Binh Province, Vietnam
Installed equipment: Kosmen KM-150S Industrial Dehumidifier
Purpose: To control and maintain stable humidity levels in electrical cabinet rooms, control rooms, and technical areas
