Kosmen’s Survey, Consultation, Installation, and Project Implementation Process

Stage 1: Understanding the Customer’s Requirements

The company approached Kosmen with a clear priority: keeping stored wood in stable environmental conditions to protect product quality during warehousing and production. Because wood naturally absorbs moisture from the surrounding air, both raw materials and finished products require suitable humidity conditions to avoid deterioration during storage.

Kosmen first gathered information about the warehouse, the type of materials being stored, and the required humidity range. These initial inputs formed the basis for the technical assessment and the development of a suitable solution.

Stage 2: Information Collection & Preliminary Consultation

Kosmen then worked with the customer to gain a clearer picture of the warehouse, including its size, layout, storage arrangement, and the conditions in which raw materials and finished products were being kept.

The area requiring humidity management was identified at approximately 1,700 m², with a target range of 50–55% RH. Based on this information, Kosmen carried out an initial assessment and developed a preliminary direction for equipment capacity, quantity, and placement before moving on to the on-site survey.

Stage 3: Confirming the On-Site Survey

Once the initial requirements had been clarified, Kosmen and the customer agreed on a survey schedule, inspection scope, and the key areas to be reviewed at the warehouse in Hanoi.

Ahead of the visit, Kosmen’s technical team prepared the necessary measuring instruments and inspection tools. The survey would provide first-hand data on the warehouse environment, available space, and storage arrangement, allowing the proposed solution to be refined more accurately.

Stage 4: On-Site Survey & Technical Consultation

During the site visit, Kosmen assessed the main factors that could influence dehumidification performance, including ambient humidity, warehouse dimensions, building structure, airflow, and the way raw materials and finished products were arranged.

The survey confirmed a treatment area of approximately 1,700 m² and a target humidity range of 50–55% RH, consistent with the customer’s original requirements. Using the data collected on site, the technical team evaluated the moisture load, calculated the required capacity, determined the number of units needed, and planned a suitable equipment layout.

Stage 5: Solution Proposal & System Layout

Based on the survey findings, Kosmen developed a dehumidification solution tailored to the size and operating conditions of the warehouse. The final recommendation included two Kosmen KM-250S industrial dehumidifiers and one KM-480S unit, providing the capacity required for continuous operation across a large storage area.

Equipment locations were planned around the warehouse layout, airflow paths, and product storage zones so that the industrial dehumidifiers could deliver effective moisture removal across the space while maintaining stable system performance.

Stage 6: Finalizing the Solution & Contract Agreement

Once the technical proposal was completed, both parties reviewed the final scope of work, including the installation of two KM-250S units and one KM-480S unit, equipment locations, project schedule, and related terms.

After the proposal was approved, Kosmen completed the required documentation and contract procedures while preparing the equipment, technical personnel, and installation plan. This ensured that the project was ready to move smoothly into the implementation stage.

Stage 7: Delivery, Installation & Commissioning

The KM-250S and KM-480S units were delivered to the wood warehouse at Hòa Lạc Hi-Tech Park according to the agreed schedule. On site, Kosmen’s technical team installed each unit according to the approved layout, checked all connections, and reviewed the necessary operating parameters before startup.

Once installation was complete, the system was test-run under actual warehouse conditions to verify its ability to maintain humidity at 50–55% RH. After all technical requirements had been met, Kosmen and the customer completed the commissioning process and officially placed the system into operation.

Stage 8: Operation Guidance & After-Sales Support

After commissioning, Kosmen provided hands-on guidance to warehouse staff on setting the desired humidity level, monitoring equipment status, and carrying out essential operating procedures. The team also shared routine cleaning and maintenance practices to help the dehumidifiers maintain consistent performance over time.
