Safety Tips for Using the Kosmen Eco ECO-500BG Nut Milk Maker

Properly engage the safety sensor lock for safer use

The ECO-500BG is equipped with a safety sensor lock at the connection point between the lid and jar. This feature detects whether the lid has been properly secured before the appliance starts operating.

If the lid is not correctly locked into place, the display will show the “E2” error code and the appliance will not operate. The appliance can only start once the lid has been turned into the correct position. This helps keep ingredients contained during blending and cooking, reducing the risk of splashing or overflowing.

To ensure the connector functions properly, always operate the lid in the correct direction:

• To close the lid: Place the lid onto the jar and turn it clockwise until it is securely locked into place.
• To open the lid: Turn it counterclockwise, then gently lift the lid.

Do not force the lid, twist it in the wrong direction, or apply excessive pressure. The plastic connector may break if handled improperly, which can prevent the appliance from operating. Proper handling not only ensures smooth operation but also helps protect the connector for long-term use.

During operation

• Do not exceed the maximum capacity line when adding ingredients.
• Add the appropriate amount of water according to the selected cooking program.
• Avoid processing excessively hard ingredients that exceed the appliance's recommended capacity.
• Do not move the appliance while it is operating.
• Do not open the lid while the appliance is running or when the contents are still hot.
• Never insert your hands or any hard objects into the blending jar while the blades are rotating.

Cleaning and maintenance

• Always unplug the appliance before cleaning or performing maintenance.
• Allow the appliance to cool completely before cleaning.
• Do not immerse the main unit or motor base in water or any other liquid.
• Take extra care when cleaning the blade assembly, as the blades are sharp.
• Clean the blending jar, lid, and blades immediately after each use to prevent food residue from drying and to maintain optimal performance.
